Hey guys, can anyone identify this music genre?
I usually hear something like that in clubs and pubs, but when I type club music in YT all I get is some teenager dancing trash, while this is more like calm chill out music (while still very disting drum in the background).

Well I stopped distinguishing, I label everything under “Electro” ;)

But it I were to distinguish, I'd call it House

my first hit on yt search for “chill house” got me here:

from there it should be easy to find sth that suits your taste. i would recommend to leave out everything that is labeled “vocal”; instead you want “deep / chill” in the title.

this would be an example:

hope this is a help.

edit: here is a little pearl from earlier times. you could call this tech/deep house and it is less relaxing than what you probably have in mind, but maybe you like it anyway.

Hey player17 - I think the Chill/Deep House is a correct hit. To my suprise when I tried to find something to identify this genre I searched house and I searched chill separately but in both I felt that I wasn't eactly on the point.

Thanks for help - it was really frustrating to hear a nice beat, but couldn't really identify what kind of music it is.

It's similar to trance as well. Alot of the electro subgenres crisscross all over the place. You'll find some that are vastly different, from the same album even.

Hey Fluffy I was listening a lot of trance during my study times - this is not it.
Trance seems to be more vigorous and faster while this is slower and more chill out.
However you have the point, as most electronic music originates from same origin the borders are blurred, yet they make a huge diffrence.

For example I absolutely hate Dub Step but for most cases I enjoy Chill Step.

When I was even younger I also listened to House, yet I failed to notice the connection to Chill House that I was asking in OP.

Well it's much better than regular dubstep, but my head would propably start to ache after more than 20 minutes.

I can listen to Chillstep for hours without the problem:
