This came as quite a surprise to me, personally, but David Bowie died today. Some colleagues mentioned it on the train earlier.

@J3nkin: if you need a modern reference to him, watch the Secret life of Walter Mitty. Really good movie, breathtaking landscape shots and in between this song. Go watch it now! So Badger can't make you his bitch that easily. Rekt son!

Just Dance is a song you would have most definitely heard maybe without making the connection to good old Bowie


However I did have to resist slapping someone today when they informed me they weren't aware of a band called Queen or a man called Freddie Mercury so its sadly possible these brilliant icons are being lost on generations. 


Ok…re listening to this just made me double as sad
